ABOUT US

We are a community of bird breeders who gather on the 3rd Sunday of the month, to swap ideas on breeding techniques and trends. We are have guest speakers who talk on a whole range of subjects related to the keeping and breeding of birds. Unfortunately due to the current situation with COVID-19 we have been unable to have guest speakers attend meetings. Going forward this should change in 2021 for all of us.

 

In conjunction with the Logan City we run a Myna Trap loan program for the capture of the Indian Myna bird, which has become a pest to our natural bird life. The Indian Myna has been declared as vermin and as such is under a program of eradication, as they are destroying native bird nests and killing their young.
